Naval Spotting: USS Barry (DDG-52) & FS Cassard (D-614)

Happened to pass by the Valletta Harbor yesterday evening, and spotted two destroyers visiting Malta for the weekend. I had no tripod or zoom, but thought it was worth to try a few night-shots. No choppers on board unfortunately, but it was a good occasion to get a close look at these examples of naval power.

  1. Love the shots of these ships. My favorite is the one taken from the bridge of the Barry with the palms in the forefront.

  2. hey thanks a lot for the nice comment :) Wasn't expecting the ships at all on that occasion and got lucky to find a good spot were to keep my camera stable enough for long shutter speeds.
